These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Avenzo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Avenzo ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Avenzo. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. What Avenzo Does
Avenzo provides a technology platform that allows customers at participating restaurants to scan a QR code, browse the restaurant's menu, and place a dine-in order. Avenzo facilitates the order between you and the restaurant. The restaurant is solely responsible for preparing, serving, and ensuring the quality and safety of your food.
Avenzo is not a restaurant, food manufacturer, or food delivery service. We do not prepare or handle food.
3. Your Account
- You may use Avenzo as a guest (phone number required) or by creating an account (email and password or social login).
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
- You must provide accurate and complete information. Providing false contact details to circumvent order limits or fraud detection is prohibited.
- One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
4. Placing Orders
- Orders are placed directly with the restaurant through our platform.
- By confirming an order, you enter into a transaction with the restaurant — not with Avenzo.
- You must provide a valid phone number for every order. This is used by the restaurant to contact you if needed and to send you order status notifications.
- Menu items, prices, availability, and descriptions are set by the restaurant. Avenzo does not control this information and cannot guarantee its accuracy.
- Once an order is accepted by the restaurant, it may not be possible to modify or cancel it.
- Prices shown include applicable taxes where displayed. A service charge or platform fee may appear at checkout and will be shown clearly before you confirm payment.
5. Allergen and Dietary Information
Important — please read before ordering:
Allergen, ingredient, and nutritional information displayed on Avenzo is provided solely by the restaurant. This information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or subject to change without notice due to menu updates, substitutions, or cross-contamination during food preparation.
Avenzo does not verify allergen or nutritional information. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary restriction, you must contact the restaurant directly before placing your order to confirm the suitability of any dish. Do not rely solely on information shown in the app.
6. Payments
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a Reserve Bank of India-authorised payment aggregator. Your card or UPI details are entered directly on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS-certified payment page — Avenzo never sees or stores your card data.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due at the time of placing your order unless the restaurant operates a pay-at-counter model.
- If a payment fails, your order will not be confirmed. In the rare event of a duplicate charge, please contact us and we will ensure a full refund.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Once the restaurant has accepted and begun preparing your order, cancellation is generally not possible. Orders for dine-in service are prepared immediately upon acceptance.
- Refunds will be processed in the following circumstances:
- Your payment was charged but the order was not confirmed or accepted by the restaurant
- You were charged more than the displayed price
- A verified duplicate payment occurred
- The restaurant confirms it cannot fulfil your order after accepting it
- Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay back to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
- To request a refund, contact us at support@avenzo.in within 7 days of the order date.
- Refunds are not available for food quality complaints — these should be raised directly with the restaurant. However, we take quality complaints seriously and investigate patterns that may affect the restaurant's listing.
For the complete refund policy, see avenzo.in/refund-policy.
8. Restaurant's Responsibility
The restaurant is solely responsible for:
- The quality, safety, hygiene, and preparation of all food items
- The accuracy of menu descriptions, prices, allergen information, and availability
- Compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) licensing and hygiene requirements
- Complying with all applicable local, state, and national food safety laws
9. Prohibited Uses
You must not:
- Place fraudulent, fictitious, or prank orders
- Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Service
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the platform
- Abuse refund or dispute processes
- Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law
- Impersonate another person or provide false information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or the platform's systems
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Avenzo platform — including the app design, branding, code, and text — is owned by Avenzo or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
Menu images and descriptions are the property of the respective restaurants and are displayed under licence.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- Avenzo is not liable for the quality, safety, fitness for purpose, or accuracy of food or menu information provided by restaurants
- Avenzo is not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, or injury arising from food prepared by a restaurant
- Avenzo is not liable for a restaurant's failure to prepare or serve an order
- Avenzo's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of the Service that cannot be resolved informally through our support team will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
